Soy & Sesame Glazed Fruit Salad

All the sweetness of summery fruit, with a savoury break from red onion & scallion, topped with a sweet & tangy glaze made of soy sauce, sesame oil, and fresh lime = A fresh burst in every bite!

ingredients*

GROUP A: FRUIT SALAD

  • 1/2 red guava, sliced

  • 1/2 ataulfo mango, sliced

  • 1 nectarine, pitted and sliced

  • 1 small persian cucumber, sliced

  • 1 scallion, sliced

  • Handful of red onion slivers

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

GROUP B: DRESSING

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

*Store the remaining halves of the fruit by wrapping in sarin wrap or beeswax wrap, and refrigerating in an air tight container for fresh usage up to a week.

METHOD

  • Make the dressing in a small bowl and mix it thoroughly. Toss all the sliced fruit & vegetable except for the scallion, in a bowl. Drizzle with the dressing, scatter the sliced scallion all over and finish off with the toasted sesame seeds. Dig in immediately!
